Injector Service
We provide Gasoline and Ethanol injector service and testing with the most modern ASNU injector servicing equipment in Finland. We can also service and check GDI and Piezo injectors that spray directly into the cylinder. Diesel or Etec injectors are not tested or serviced at all.
When is it time to service/check injectors?
Injectors should always be checked if the vehicle/injectors have been sitting unused for a long period of time. Especially when the injectors have been dry out of the engine.
If the vehicle has suffered engine damage (melted piston, burnt valve, etc.), the injectors should be checked to avoid further damage.
You have purchased a new or used set of injectors for a tuning project and you are not aware that the injectors have been tested recently. Even new injectors have a surprising flow differences between them.
For vehicles parked over the winter, it's a good idea to have the injectors checked in the fall at the end of the season so that they're ready to go in the spring. Spring is the busiest time for injector service and queues can be long.
Injector testing.
We prepare a report on the testing, which shows, among other things, the maximum flow rates of the injectors, the inductances of the coils, the flow differences also when tested dynamically and possible leaks.
Servicing of injectors.
The service report includes test results before and after service, the mutual flow percentage difference and any change in injector flow.
During service, replaceable injector parts will be changed, seals, filters and possible pintlecaps. For hose-type injectors, connecting hoses are replaced with ethanol proof hoses. Parts are charged separately and are specified on the receipt.
